For anyone who has access to recording facilities, but doesn't have the skills or time to make notes; audio transcription is an easy and cost effective means of recording: thoughts, ideas, conversations and extract information.

Here at Top PA we are able to transcribe from digital files, CDs, mini discs and all types of cassette tapes, stamdard, micro and mini.

Digital Transcriptions

By far the fastest, clearest and most efficient way to record your voice files. Use our website form to upload your voice files and we will email back your audio transcpription upon completion.
Contact us about your requirement and we will send you the instructions as to how to upload your files onto our server. Five files of upto 200MB can be transferred at any one time. No more frustration in emailing big files any more. We are able to transcribe from the following formats: DSS (Digital Sound Standard), WAV, MP3, WMA audio files.

Tape / Cassette Transcription

If you are wanting older formats to be transcribed, i.e. cassettes/tapes, these can be posted to us and upon receipt and we will use one of our many transcriber machines to provide a transcription, which we will email back to you.

Mini Disc / CD Transcription

Like the cassettes and tapes, you can post your CD or mini disc to us and we will convert it to a digital file for ease of transcription, emailing it back to you upon transcription.

Video Transcription

Tips on getting the best out of your recording for an audio transcription:

Use a good quality Dictaphone;
Find a quiet location;
Check for background noise (traffic, schools, etc) and turn off any mobiles or phones;
Do a sound check before the final recording;
Speak clearly;
Provide a list of technical terms or any unusual names for the transcriber.
